The invention discloses a preparation method of granules for treating nephrolith, which comprises the following steps of: putting climbing fern spore and fried cowherb seed into a cloth bag; then, putting the cloth bag together with lysimachia, polygonum aviculare, baked gizzard pepsin, achyranthes, fringed pink, red sage root, vinegar prepared corydalis tuber and costus root into an extracting tank; adding water for decocting twice; mixing the decoctions; filtering; concentrating the filtered solution to obtain extract for treating nephrolith; mixing sucrose and dextrin in a trough type mixing machine; adding the extract for treating nephrolith; mixing for 15-20 minutes to obtain soft materials; then granulating; drying; and controlling the moisture within 2.0% to obtain the granules fortreating nephrolith. By adopting the invention, the extract yield can be increased by 20% under the condition that the same amount of raw medicines are used, thus the production cost can be greatly lowered; by adopting a double-effect concentrator for concentrating, the production time can be shortened; and moreover, no pollution is caused, the medicinal odor is thick, the cleaning operation is convenient, and the energy sources are saved.
