Research on LRU Optimal Division Method Considering Comprehensive Cost of Development and Maintenance

Reasonable line replaceable unit (LRU) division is an important condition to improve equipment availability and reduce life cycle cost. The traditional maintenance level quantitative division method only considers the cost of equipment maintenance support, and does not take into account the impact of the development cost on the level division, often leading to unreasonable division results. So, a comprehensive optimization model is established considering LRU reliability, maintainability and other development costs and maintenance support costs. The optimization method based on genetic algorithm is studied. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the division method are demonstrated by an
