Hemorrhoids therapeutic composition

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new compositions for treating hemorrhoid, such as a suppository, an ointment for external use, an ointment for injection, a cream and gel, stably keeping a vasoconstrictor, effective for all symptoms of bleeding, pain, itching and inflammation by compounding a vasoconstrictor, a local anesthetic and an antiphlogistic. SOLUTION: The composition for treating hemorrhoid comprises (a) at least one vasoconstrictor selected from a group consisting of tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride, naphazoline hydrochloride and phenylephrine hydrochloride, (b) at least one local anesthetic selected from a group consisting of lidocaine and dibucaine, (c) glycyrrhizic acid, (d) a carboxyvinyl polymer and (e) an organic acid having high solubility in water.
