Study on thermal deformation of thick cylinder in uneven temperature field

Thick cylinder always works in an uneven steady-state temperature field. Thermal deformation of thick cylinder should consist of thermal deformation due to thermal stress and thermal expansion. An equation based on thermoelasticity method of thick cylinder in uneven steady-state temperature field was deduced and the experimental results also validate the equation.
