The embodiment of the invention provides a method, a device and a system for determining distance between terminals. The method comprises the following steps of: detecting the position information of access points in corresponding connection with a first terminal and a second terminal, which access a network; and determining the distance between the first terminal and the second terminal according to the detected position information of the access points which correspond to the first terminal and the second terminal. By the invention, the distance between two terminals can be determined according to the position information of the access points, a global positioning system (GPS) or a base station positioning system is eliminated, the distance between the terminals can be easily and conveniently determined, and convenience is provided for message push, notification and the like.
