Sealed truck lamps debuted almost 30 years ago and are finally becoming standard on many tractors and trailers today. Sealed lights, although costing three to four times more than unsealed lights initially, last anywhere from 10 to 20 times longer than standard lamps. The article also discusses the latest innovation in truck lighting, the Light Emitting Diode (LED) lamps, which experts predict will become the industry standard within the next five years.
