Fixed-point Algorithm of PGC Digital Demodulation and Its Implementation on Parallel DSP Platform

With the increases of the sample rate and the fiber array size,the processing power and the processing accuracy of PGC digital demodulation system are improved.Because of the traditional DSP system's low float-point processing power, it can't meet the demand of the PGC digital demodulation system.A fixed-point algorithm of PGC digital demodulation and its implementation on the parallel digital signal processing platform based on the Godson-2E processor are introduced.The results of the experiments show that the proposed method can meet the processing power requirements and the processing accuracy requirements of PGC digital demodulation system.
