Fluiddynamik und Stofflubertragung eines neuen Kolonenbodens für die Destillation und Absorption

A new column type was tested in a column of a cross-section of 0.4X2m. This tray was developped for connecting the advantages of valve trays and Performkontakt-trays. The pressure drop, working range, gas-liquid dispersion by gamma-scanning and Murphree-efficiency by oxygen absorption were measured. The results were discussed and compared with those from valve trays. The pressure drop of the new tray is 30% lower and the upper loading is 15% higher in comparison to a valve tray.
