The invention relates to a satellite positioning data encryption system and method. Front-end equipment of the system controls a processor through the front end to process information received by a satellite receiver, and processed information is stored in a storage and sent to a communication link through a data transmission device; a central data transmission device receives the information sent by the communication link, the information is transmitted to a central control processor and stored in a central storage, and the processed information is sent to a showing device and an application system; a front-end control processor is connected with an encryption/signature verification chip used for performing encryption on the information received by the satellite receiver and performing verification on a received control command, and the central control processor is connected with a decryption/ signature verification chip used for performing decryption on the information received by the central data transmission device and performing signing on the control command sent to the front end. According to the system, under the circumstance that complexity of the system is reduced as much as possible, information safety of front-end locating data in a transmission process of the communication link is guaranteed.
