Flow control method and equipment

The invention provides a flow control method and equipment. The method comprises the following steps: making a gateway acquire a data message of a user; determining N value added services needed by the data message, wherein N is a positive integer being greater than or equal to 1; modifying a first IP (Internet Protocol) address in the data message into an Mth IP address in an address sequence, wherein the first IP address is an IP address of a network server, M is a positive integer being greater than or equal to 1, the address sequence is an IP address set allocated to the user by the gateway, and a corresponding relationship exists between addresses in the address sequence and the value added services; sending the modified data message to a value added service server corresponding to the Mth IP address, so that the value added service server corresponding to the Mth IP address performs value added service processing on the modified data message; and receiving the data message being subjected to the value added service processing, and modifying the first IP address into the IP address of the network server.
