The visual processing must be understood, because all art is created, performed and appreciated through the brain. This article aims to offer an explanation of the nervous system interaction with painting and art. This interaction acts in two ways: first, we will deal with the problems of beauty and which areas of the brain are involved and second, we will speak about how several conditions affect artistic expression.
