City-scale Consultation Drafts Biosolids Waste Strategy

2007
Relatively little information exists on the biodiversity response of forest vegetation in Australia to commercial thinning and/or cattle grazing over medium to long term periods. This report looked at the results of three of the few medium term studies initiated in southern Australia, finding that the abrupt short term effects of thinning (with or without cattle grazing) on species composition and structure were less apparent when the study continued longer than a decade.
