Anti-influenza Chinese Herbal Medicines and A Proposed Strategy to Search for Their Active Constituents Against Ebola Virus

The outbreak of the Ebola virus in Africa in 2014 poses a grave threat to human health and life. In spite of the efforts of many medical institutions at home and abroad to find curative and therapeutic remedies from different perspectives, effective drugs against the Ebola virus currently remain elusive. In this paper, a strategy of finding active compounds against Ebola virus is put forward on the basis of reviewing Chinese herbal medicines and their active ingredients against influenza virus.
