The invention relates to a steel fiber reinforced glass fiber resin composite bar material and a preparation method, the composite bar material comprises the following components by volume percentage: 25-35% of steel fiber, 25-35% of glass fiber, 20-31% of epoxy resin, 1-2% of curing agent, 1-2% of promoter, 2-5% of filling material and 6-10% of auxiliary material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: dipping the steel fiber and glass fiber in curing agent-added epoxy resin and then uniformly and mutually winding; performing secondary dipping in curing agent-added epoxy resin; then heating and solidifying; and finally pultruding and molding. The obtained bar material has the advantages of good ductility and elastic modulus, and can be widely used in the concrete structure engineering fields of adjacent sea, harbors, underground engineering and the like.
