On dissociation in liquid electrolytes

The properties of weak and strong electrolytes can be interpreted in a consistent way in terms of the mass action law. Details of the dissociation of ionic donor molecules for the 1: 1 electrolyte were discussed in terms of the relative positions of the characteristic energy levels for the neutral and charged complexes of electrolytes.
