Demonstration Study on Farmers' Land Consciousness in the Course of Urbanization

Through the demonstration study on the three rural areas with different economy level in Hunan province,the result says: 68 percent of farmers' land value consciousness is very strong;45.3 percent become indifferent to the land property right and 71.9 percent will not depend on the land.Urbanization is the radical momentum of farmers' land consciousness change.In present the change presents the two characteristics as a whole: the blend of tradition and modern, and the rational pragmatism.The economy factors is the essential reason of the transformation,and the other reasons also influence directly on farmers' land consciousness transmutation such as the land relative benefits,rural land property right system,farmers' culture level,rural social security construction,and farmer non-agriculture employment quality.
