Silica produced by flame hydrolysis process for its preparation and use

2003
Silica powder produced by flame hydrolysis with a BET surface area 10-600 m It is prepared by bringing at least a vaporous silicon dioxide precursor in the presence of a free oxygen containing gas, a fuel gas and water vapor to the reaction, wherein the lambda- and the gamma-value between 1 and 2 and the beta value between 2.2 and up 3.2. The powder can be used for the production of dispersions.
