Seventy normal children who had the similar personal characters served as control. Results Compared with control group,Memory was lower in psychomotor epilepsy children. The memory in psychomotor epilepsy children was notable correlated with the durations of the illness. The more longer durations of the illness, the more worse memory function( P <0.05).The memory of cases which seizures arisen from left temporal lobe was more easily suffered from illness than that of cases which seizures arisen from right temporal lobe( P <0.05). The left side of the origin and the origin of the right to compare, memory improvement seem to be more clear after treatment( P <0.05).Conclusion Memory in psychomotor epilepsy children was lower than normal children. Good clinical control and shorten the course to protect and improve the memory disorders have a positive effect. Key words: Psychomotor epilepsy;  Children;  Memory Disorder
