One aspect of the present invention is to provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising: a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a nonaqueous electrolyte containing a titanium-containing oxide. A non-aqueous electrolyte comprising at least one member selected from a fluorine-difluoro-phosphoric acid and phosphate and carbon monoxide. With respect to the mass concentration of carbon monoxide difluorophosphate and monofluorophosphate mass concentrations and the ratio is in the range of 0.1% to 5%.
