The invention relates to heat preservation powder coating for aluminum alloy sections and a preparation method of the heat preservation powder coating. The heat preservation powder coating for the aluminum alloy sections comprises the following components, by mass fraction, 48-58% of a film-forming agent, 3.6-4.3% of a curing agent, 1.0% of a flatting agent, 1.0% of a brightening agent, 0.2% of a degassing agent, 20-30% of heat preservation component and 16-36% of filler. The preparation method of the heat preservation powder coating for the aluminum alloy sections is characterized by comprising the following steps: smashing and screening are conducted; then the film-forming agent, the curing agent, the flatting agent, the brightening agent, the degassing agent, the heat preservation component, and the filler in a formula are added and mixed; materials evenly mixed are sent to a double-screw mixing extruder, the temperature of a material-feeding section of the extruder is 105-110 DEG C, the temperature of a discharging section is 110-115 DEG C; and after being discharged, the materials are smashed and screened. Powder materials with mesh number larger than 200 are collected, and then the heat preservation powder coating is obtained. The heat preservation powder coating for the aluminum alloy sections is low in heat conductivity, good in heat preservation performance, low in cost, simple and convenient to prepare and quite broad in application prospect.
