Percepción de la preparación de los estudiantes, de la carrera de Derecho, para enfrentar la docencia en condiciones de virtualidad

La virtualidad es una modalidad, que propicia un aprendizaje, tanto sincronico como asincronico, sin demeritar la calidad del proceso docente educativo, lo cual constituye el futuro de la ensenanza ponderada en la universidad. Conocer la realidad de los estudiantes, como punto de partida, precisa que en este estudio el objetivo se encamine a diagnosticar el estado actual de los mismos en la carrera de Derecho para enfrentar la modalidad virtual. El escenario donde se desarrolla la investigacion es la Universidad Metropolitana de Ecuador (UMET), y el universo son los estudiantes de la carrera de Derecho del primer semestre. El tipo de estudio utilizado fue observacional descriptivo correlacional. Los resultados fundamentales estan asociados a los fundamentos teoricos que han sustentados la investigacion con una mirada centrada en la utilizacion del diagnostico como metodo de investigacion. Los alumnos presentan un estatus social favorable lo cual propicia condiciones objetivas para enfrentar el proceso virtual. Las motivaciones y actitudes de los estudiantes son valoradas como muy buenas y buenas respectivamente, su mayor preocupacion esta en la dimension cognitiva asociada al enfrentamiento al cambio a lo nuevo, por ser la primera vez que estudian por esta modalidad de ensenanza y por el dominio de las herramientas fundamentales para enfrentar este proceso. Palabras clave: Diagnosticos, modalidad virtual, plataformas interactivas.   ABSTRACT Virtuality is a modality that encourages both synchronous and asynchronous learning, without detracting from the quality of the educational teaching process, which constitutes the future of weighted teaching at the university. Knowing the reality of the students, as a starting point, specifies that in this study the objective is directed to diagnose the current state of the same in the Law career to face the virtual modality. The scenario where the research is developed is the Metropolitan University of Ecuador (UMET), and the universe is the students of the Law degree of the first semester. The type of study used was observational descriptive correlational. The fundamental results are associated with the theoretical foundations that have supported the research with a focus on the use of diagnosis as a research method. The students have a favorable social status, which provides objective conditions to face the virtual process. The motivations and attitudes of the students are valued as very good and good respectively, their greatest concern is in the cognitive dimension associated with facing the change to the new, because it is the first time they study through this teaching modality and because of the mastery of the fundamental tools to face this process.
