Effect of linear emitter recombination on OCVD determination of lifetime in p-i-n diodes

Abstract The effect of the linear emitter recombination component on the lifetime determined from open circuit voltage decay is calculated and graphs provided which enable the true base lifetime to be deduced from such measurements.
