Palladium carbonyl hydride complexes

1986
1. The action of carbon monoxide or the consecutive action of hydrogen and carbon monoxide on solutions of palladium acetate containing 1,10-phenanthroline gives polynuclear palladium carbonyl hydride complexes containing phenanthroline. 2. The hydrogen atoms in the a position of the coordinated phenanthroline molecules may serve as a source of the hydride atoms bound to palladium.
