Research of temperature control system for regenerative soaking furnace

According to technological process and requirement of regenerative soaking furnace,its furnace temperature control system is introduced.In the system,a multiple mode segment control algorithm—P-Fuzzy-PI controller was adopted.Its design process is explained in detail.The algorithm is comprehensive of advantages of both PID control and fuzzy control,for example,quick response,small overshoot and without static state error.Furnace temperature control system with the algorithm has been applied to practice.Control effect is excellent.Practical application data show that overshoot is less than 4% and steady state error is less than 3 ℃.
