The maintenance management system is based always on an information system that contains all the relevant data for such management. Recent advances have shown the promise of geographic information systems for more effective and user-friendly data retrieval and handling. SAMRA dn SCETAUROUTE have developed an integrated system of tools, from mapping to cartographic data retrieval, and comprising an information management system suitable for all road types. ROMEO and THEMA are the main links in that system.
