Z działalności odczytowej Związku Naukowo-Literackiego we Lwowie (1893/1898-1914)

The article is about activity of the Scientific and Literary Association in Lviv. This Association was organized at the end of the 19th century by Franciszek Rawita-Gawronski. The aim of the Association was to facilitate the local intelligence contact with the world of contemporary culture, science and art. The main activities of the Union were: readings and lectures, organizing anniversary celebrations and publishing. Other speakers at the meetings of the Association were: Lviv University professors, writers, artists, social activists – in short leading specialists in the various fields of science, culture and social activities.
