Light-emitting diode

2010
The invention discloses a light-emitting diode, which comprises a pedestal, pins fixed on the pedestal, a luminous chip electrically connected with the pins and a packaging body, wherein the packaging body comprises a first area and a second area; at least one of the first and second areas is doped with fluorescent powder; the wavelength of light emitted by the fluorescent powder which is excited is different from that of light emitted by the luminous chip; one of the first and second areas is provided with a transparent light regulation structure which is made from an electrochromic material; and at least one of color and light transmittance of the electrochromic material can be changed under the action of current. The light-emitting diode is relatively easier to control, and the color of the emitted light can be conveniently changed.
