The competitiveness and the search by the quality of the products and of the services do with that the enterprises seek alternatives in agreement with the market, thus the organizations are conditioned the a drastic process of technological updating and of reduction of costs. The Information Systems (IS), it is contributing more and more to the information management, because the constants changes in the enterprise environment , mainly in the increase capacity of the processing, of the structure and of the flows of information. The implantation of an IS can generate reflexes positive or negative, it can reach or not pre-established objectives. This work has as study object the suffered impacts in the adoption of an IS in an furniture industry and it presents the identified impacts and the results in field.
