2016
Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of medical therapy and operation on children chronic rhinosinusitis(CRS). Methods Eighty cases of outpatient and inpatient children of CRS in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou university from January 2015 to July 2015 were retrospectively analyzed. They were treated with integrated medical treatment (drug group)and surgical treatment(operation group) respectively. Results One month after treatment, the average scores of VAS and endoscopic parameters in both groups were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment(P 0.05), and the effective rates were significant different between the two groups 3 month and 6 month after treatment(P<0.05). Conclusions ①Drug therapy should be preferred, the normalization and systematization of the medical treatment which needs to be further studied. ②The surgical treatment of pediatric CRS can choose adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy and FESS. ③Postoperative follow-up and surgery itself are equally important for pediatric CRS. Understanding of the situation of the surgical cavity can adjust timely postoperative therapy, reduce complications and improve the cure rate.
