The invention relates to a method for processing exhaust gas obtained by degasification of liquid sulfur, which belongs to the technical field of sulphur recovery. The method comprises the following steps: injecting the exhaust gas obtained by degasification of liquid sulfur to a front part of a hydrogenation reactor, mixing the exhaust gas with air in an on-line heating furnace, reacting oxygen and hydrocarbon fuel gas in the on-line heating furnace and then consuming a reaction product, heating process gas in the on-line heating furnace, introducing Claus tail gas and the process gas into the hydrogenation reactor to react to generate hydrogen sulfide, cooling the hydrogen sulfide-containing hydrogenation tail gas with a quench tower, introducing the hydrogen sulfide-containing hydrogenation tail gas into an amine liquid absorbing tower, absorbing hydrogen sulfide in the hydrogenation tail gas with amine liquid to obtain the purified tail gas, and introducing the purified tail gas to an incinerator for burning and then discharging the tail gas. The method which has the advantages of small investment, low operation cost, environmental protection and energy saving is employed, and sulfur and a sulfur-containing compound in the exhaust gas can be recovered, SO2 emission concentration of flue gas of a sulphur apparatus is reduced, a practical problem that the current and novel sulphur recovery device cannot reach the standards can be solved, and a novel environmental protection standard requirement to be executed can be satisfied.
