처용무 연구사의 성과와 한계

This paper reflects upon Cheoyongmu studies up to August, 2013 and prospects desirable directions for further development. The diagnosed problems and suggestions for improvement are listed as follows. 1. For the future, Cheoyongmu studies requires a new perspective of narrative research. 2. Current Cheoyongmu studies are lack of vigorous debate. 3. Current Cheoyongmu studies reveal a problem of imitating previous researches. 4. Cheoyongmu studies require collaboration of theory and practice. 5. Cheoyongmu studies need future-oriented research. With these considerations, Cheoyongmu scholars would overcome the stagnation.
