Food Allergens Monitoring System Backed-up by Blockchain Technology

In the near future, the evolution of technology will be able to offer a wide range of solutions for healthcare specific to each individual. It will be possible to create miniaturized portable medical instruments, of small size and cost, having functions of recognition for different “dangerous substances or environments”: gluten, drugs, alcohol, sleeping pills, stimulants, molds, volatile substances etc. The development of such equipment must be accompanied by the implementation of scalable and secure software solutions for data collection, storage and visualization. In the current paper, a solution based on blockchain technology for the safe storage, management and access of the measurements data is presented.
