Research on the China's Retail Enterprise Technical Progress and Technical Efficiency:Based on 1999～2007 Data of Listed Companies in Analysis

DEA-Malmquist index methods,the use of 30 listed companies in the retail industry from 1999 to 2007 of the panel data,measure and analysis of listed companies of Total Factor Productivity(TFP).Research shows that the retail listing of the company's total factor productivity is to improve significantly,primarily due to changes in technology progress rather than technical efficiency factor.But most of the companies overall efficiency and scale efficiency is not high,enterprise changes difference between its technology and productivity.Therefore,when the retail enterprise in the implementation of development strategies of technological progress,we should be paid attention to synchronization of the management concepts and information technology;interactive development of business operations and information technology;coordination with software implementation and management.
