A group of contrast cutting experiment for different types hard alloy cutting tools of which discontinuous cutting the3C r-1Mo-1/4V have been done. By comparing the adhering disrepair and the size of disrepair range produced by selected cutting tools and analysing the adhering this kind of workpiece material is optimized which raises machining efficiency improves cutting condition and cutting performances and prolongs life of the tools.
