Jejunally fed patients post oesophagectomy / gastrectomy: Are they getting all they need? An audit at the Princess Alexandra Hospital

Adequate nutrition support plays an important role in postoperative recovery. Marked patient weight loss subsequent to oesophagectomy and gastrectomy prompted an audit (February to July 2008) of postoperative enteral feeding delivery via jejunostomy tube. Ethics Committee approval was received.
