Progress in ketosis-prone Type 2 diabetes mellitus

Some clinical symptoms of either Type 2 or Type 1 diabetes were all observed in Type 2 diabetes patients with spontaneous ketosis,and its development is related to the severe insulin resistance and the stortage of islet β cell function.almost return to the normal level after the insulin therapy is discontinued.The measument of islet autoimmune antibody and islet beta cell function may have pratical significance on the clinical management of Type 2 diabetes patients with spontaneous ketosis.
