An augmented reality visualization in IGS system

2000
Augmented reality is a technology in which a computer-generated image is superimposed onto the user's vision of the real world. This gives the user additional information generated from the computer generated model. Especially, in the medical field, this technique can be used for understanding the spatial position of a patient's organ during an operation. We applied this technique to an image guided surgery (IGS) system and tested it with a skull phantom.
