Recent Advances in Cross-Coupling Reactions with Aryl Chlorides, Tosylates, and Mesylates

In the past 10 years, the cross-coupling reactions of the relatively unreactive electrophilic aryl chlorides, -tosylates, and -mesylates have been extensively investigated. Strategies to promote oxidative addition toward inert chemical bonds have included the use of bulky, electron-rich ligands.
