Based on Wavelet-Morphological Image Segmentation Algorithm of License Plate

vehicle license plate image segmentation is the prerequisite and basis for identification.Automatic vehicle management technology in the growing today,license plate image segmentation technology high-profile.For a license with the body of the division of background,this paper,based on wavelet transform and mathematical morphology of the vehicle license threshold segmentation algorithm.First of all,on the license plate image wavelet denoising,and then use mathematical morphology on the plate after denoising threshold segmentation images.This method is able to contain more noise from the vehicle license plate images to obtain images,by constructing the appropriate structural elements,can achieve a good extraction.
