Caracterizacion Ambiental de la Cuenca del Arroyo las Conchas, provincia de Entre Ríos

ENVIRONMENTAL CHARACTERIZATION OF THE ARROYO LAS CONCHAS BASIN, PROVINCE OF ENTRE RIOS. The present paper summarizes environmental features of Arroyo Las Conchas basin (Entre Rios, Argentina), obtained through bibliography revision, field work, remote sensing and geoprocessing tools. Characterization of physical (geology and soils) and natural vegetation status is done. It was found that natural vegetation covers less than the 13 percents of the total area. This situation should be considered at future studies jointly with other anthropic variables, for the evaluation of variables that affects natural resources conditions over the basin.
