The utility model discloses an overheating protection circuit of an electronic system and the electronic system. The electronic system comprises a system operating power supply, a micro-control unit MCU connected with an enabling terminal of the system operating power supply, and a temperature inductor connected with the MCU; and the MCU closes the system operating power supply through the enabling terminal when the temperature detected by the temperature inductor is equal to or greater than a first threshold value. The overheating protection circuit comprises a temperature monitoring circuit and a control circuit; the control circuit is connected with the temperature monitoring circuit and the enabling terminal of the system operating power supply; the control circuit closes the system operating power supply through the enabling terminal when the temperature detected by the temperature monitoring circuit is equal to or greater than a second threshold value; and the second threshold value is greater than the first threshold value. According to the overheating protection circuit of the electronic system, when the MCU cannot control to break the operating power supply of the electronic system, the protection is enabled to turn off the working power supply, high safety overheating protection is achieved, and safety events are prevented.
