POSSIBILIDADES DA EDUCAÇÃO POPULAR EM SAÚDE NA TRANSFORMAÇÃO DO PROCESSO DE TRABALHO DA ESTRATÉGIA SAÚDE DA FAMÍLIA Popular Education in Health possibilities in the transformation of the working process of the Family Health Strategy

This study aimed to understand the possibilities of Popular Education in Health in the transformation of the working process of the Family Health Strategy. It is an integrative literature review with a qualitative approach. The criteria of inclusion used in the study were: scientific articles of original research published from 2008 in the national literature in the Portuguese language and available in full in the literature. In total, 17 articles were selected and discussed according to similarities and differences among the authors and, after the characterization of the studies, five categories for analysis of the results were created. It was noticed that there is a long way to go before there is concrete transformation of the labor process in the Family Health Strategy and that popular education can contribute effectively.
