Approaches to Therapy of Richter Syndrome

Abstract Richter transformation (RT) is defined as the evolution of chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL) into an aggressive lymphoma. Occurring mostly in elderly and frail patients with multiple comorbidities, RT may be treated only with limited approaches. Under the progressive development of knowledge regarding the molecular bases of RT evolution, novel treatment strategies are being explored.
