Comparison of the value of Cervical Scraping Smear and Thinprep Cytologic Test on Screening Cervical Lesion

Objective To compare the detection rates of cervical scraping smear and thinprep cytologic test on early cervical lesions.Methods Made the application of both cervical scraping smear and thinprep cytologic test(TCT) to the gynecological clinic patients that came for treatment or physical examination,and finally evaluated the result with the pathology.Results The detection rate of the TCT group was higher than that of the cervical scraping smear group,with the result of 1.73% of detection rate compare to 0.57% for the control group and a P value that less than 0.01.Conclusion Being a testing of high detection rate for the cervical lesions,TCT is worth of being popularized.
