Analysis and Research on Magnetic Suspension Force of New Double Stators Maglev Switched Reluctance

Maglev switched reluctance motor is a new type of modern motor which combines magnetic bearing technology with switched reluctance motor technology. Under the action of two sets of windings of torque winding and suspension winding, the motor generates rotating electromagnetic torque and self-suspension supporting rotating ability. In this paper, the structure and operation principle of dual-stator switched reluctance motor with magnetic levitation are studied. There is a coupling relationship between the rotating torque and the levitation force of the motor. Finite element modeling and analysis of a novel dual-stator magnetic levitation switched reluctance motor are carried out, and the relationship between the structural parameters of the motor and the motor torque and levitation force is obtained. The purpose of this paper is to get the optimal design of the motor through the simulation optimization design, overcome the control difficulty of the radial force of the switched reluctance motor changing with the rotor position, and improve the controllability of the motor.
