Application of the Double-Speed Method in the Integrity Inspection of Transmission Tower Pile Foundations

Integrity inspection of pile foundations is very important to evaluate the service life of transmission tower. In this study, the double-speed method is employed to resolve the up-traveling wave. Based on the characteristics of the up-traveling wave, the integrity of the pile foundations of the transmission tower can be evaluated. A series of field tests are carried out to verify the accuracy of the proposed method.
