Design of Microwave Dual-band Monopole Antenna Based on Gaussian Process

Electromagnetic simulation has become an important tool in modern antenna structure design. However, accurate simulations of real antenna models are expensive, so designing automation by using EM solvers in optimized antennas may be prohibitive because of its high computational cost. In this article, a gaussian process model as the fitness function of the particle swarm algorithm instead of electromagnetic simulation software to optimize the microwave dual-band monopole antenna has been demonstrated.
