Experienciar e expressar: as linguagens infantis na relação com a arte

This article examines debates on experience, expression and art related to education, childhood and culture, aiming to sustain the conversation on this triad that may, at times, serve didactic purposes, materialized by teaching practice, to the point of not considering the creative and playful potentialities involved. It intends to expand the debate and the exchange of an understanding about said triad, by dialoguing with different classical and contemporary authors, through which children, even before speaking, relate to the world and, with behaviors and attitudes, express their thoughts. This expression results, therefore, from one’s experiences, from what has been acquired through practice, in living. In this regard, art, expression, and experience integrate our understanding of culture, that is, a set of meanings historically constructed and transmitted, embodied in the social fabric, through subjects, such as children.
