Spatial Electric Load Forecasting of Urban Power System Based on Multivariate Analysis

An spatial load forecasting(SLF)method based on multivariate analysis is proposed.The method uses a "top-down" approach to achieve.Firstly,establish a multivariate prediction medol taking into account the economic,population,temperature factors.And on this basis,predic the total load of the urban power system.Then based on urban land use information,use the load density method to allocate load to each supply district in order to achieve the spatial laod forecasting.Finally,the effectiveness of the method are demonstrated by using the Jilin city power system.
