Fast ion beam laser spectroscopy of N2O+: Observation and interpretation of the Fermi resonance in the 100 2Π vibronic level of the ground state
1994
We present the analysis of the 100 A 2Σ–100 X 2Π3/2 band of N2O+ observed by fast ion beam laser spectroscopy. The obtained spectrum allowed us to interpret the Fermi interaction effects in the X 2Π ground state. The two Fermi parameters W1 and W2 were determined for the first time. The obtained values are in good agreement with those calculated theoretically and those obtained for other isoelectronic linear triatomic molecules.
